Jami Lukasik
M.A. & LLP
The smallest amount of change or perspective can offer an insurmountable difference in someone’s life. This is the foundation of the approach I take with each individual.
I completed my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy. I have extensive experience in assessments and evaluations with both children and adults, including several years performing neuropsychological assessments. I specialize in psychological evaluations geared toward educational and vocational settings. I offer evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. I work with educational disciplines and other treatment providers in making sure people are equipped with the necessary accommodations and assistance. I also offer individual therapy services. I feel it is imperative to provide an eclectic approach and broad scope of services to tailor each individual’s needs to maximize success.
Elizabeth Mitchell
M.S. & LLP
As part of my training as a Behavior Therapist, I did a practicum doing comprehensive psychological
evaluations for the State of Michigan and enjoyed it so much that I have continued. I have conducted
thousands of psychological evaluations over the years. Although I was initially quite concerned about the
bias in testing, I have found that a comprehensive evaluation can help guide people to receive the
appropriate treatment and services they need to meet their goals. Many children and adults often go
through years of treatment to find out during a thorough evaluation that their core problems have never
been fully identified and therefore not treated. I was a Special Education Teacher before I became a
Psychologist and I am well-versed in identifying Learning Disabilities, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum
Disorder along with accessing and making recommendations for treating mood, anxiety, thought
disorders, and substance use.
I also provide therapy services for Children, adults, couples, and families. My training includes being an
Advanced Certified Trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach. I have also completed intensive training in
trauma therapy in Compassionate Inquiry Trauma Therapy. Having adopted two children I also have a
good deal of personal experience with early developmental trauma. I am always willing to answer any
questions so feel free to contact me if you would like any other information.
